(hereinafter also referred to as the "Bank"), as Data Controller, informs you about the processing of Your personal data with reference to the activities carried out by the Bank involving the intervention of a virtual assistant ("ChatBot").

2. Purpose and legal basis of the processing
UniCredit processes your personal data only if the following legal basis and purpose of processing exist:

Activities necessary to manage your assistance request (e.g., more information on banking products/services and ongoing promotions/initiatives; search for banking products/services; request for support both inside and outside the app; etc.) in real-time, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The provision of data for the above purpose is not mandatory, and the refusal to provide them does not result in any negative consequences, except the inability to use the chatbot service for the requested assistance. In any case, you may request the intervention of a human operator to address your needs. |
3. Categories of personal data processed
UniCredit processes the following personal data:
- Personal identification data (e.g., name, surname, tax code, residential/domicile address, date and place of birth, nationality, data relating to identification documents);
- Contact details (e.g., landline/mobile phone number, email address);
- Information on financial situation (e.g., financial status, credit information related to credit requests/relationships);
- Data relating to image (e.g., photograph on identification document);
- Voice recordings (e.g., voice messages);
- Other data attributable to the above categories.
UniCredit reminds you not to communicate and/or enter Special Personal Data (e.g., ethnic origin, political, religious, sexual, trade union, and philosophical orientation, state of health, etc.) related to you and/or third parties into the ChatBot, and, in general, not to communicate information that is not necessary to manage your request for assistance and/or subscription to products/services.
